The following terms apply to any products purchased from us.

Interpretation

The words with initial capital letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in the singular or plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Cheapestiles, 65 Canterbury Road.
  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to Cheapestiles, accessible from https://www.cheapestiles.com.au/
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Order Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel your Order prior to it being shipped. We do not accept cancellations once the Order has left the warehouse where the Goods are stored, including any Order that is in transit from the warehouse to us before being dispatched to you.

Cancellations of an Order will result in the forfeiture of any deposits or prepayments made.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can notify us of your decision by:

We will refund you no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the cancellation request.

Conditions for Returns

If you purchased the wrong product, it doesn’t fit, or you no longer want the item, we do accept returns if eligible.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the following:

  • The Goods were purchased within the last 30 days.
  • The Goods are in their original packaging.

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • Goods in the same batch that are available in minimum quantity or no longer available.
  • Goods purchased on clearance sale
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • Goods that, by their nature, are not suitable for return or have easily deteriorated from handling.
  • Goods that have been used, installed, or altered.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet these conditions at our sole discretion.

Only regular-priced Goods are eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to you if it is not permitted by applicable law.

A restocking fee of 30% based on the original price paid will apply to all approved returns.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to us. Please send the Goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost during return shipment.

Refund

The original shipping cost will not be refunded.
Refunds will be processed using the same form of payment used for the original purchase, within 14 days of receipt of the returned Goods.

Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Goods

If the goods are incorrect, damaged, or defective, we will arrange a replacement.

Chipped or broken tiles may occur within an order or during transit. We require photos of damaged items within 24 hours of delivery to process a claim. Certain chips or breakages may be deemed usable, and in this instance, a refund or exchange will not be issued.

Please check all paperwork to ensure the details match your requirements. Any payment is considered acceptance of the exact details listed on your Order.

You agree that tiles may have one or more of the following characteristics: variation in colour, texture, patterns, shade, crazing, marks, blemishes, size variation, and optical hazing. Sample tiles and showroom displays are to be used as a guide only and may vary from the actual tiles received.

Optical hazing can be present in polished and semi-polished materials. This occurs as a smoky or smudged finish on the tile, which may only be visible depending on the light source reflecting at various angles off the surface. It is not considered a fault, and we will not accept any claims in relation to this.

We will not be responsible for damages caused by incorrect cleaning or sealing methods, or cleaning products used on the material.

Nominal sizes are quoted on your quote and invoice (these are approximate sizes). We cannot guarantee the exact size of each batch noted on your order.

Natural stones or encaustic tiles require specific care, cleaning, grouting, sealing, and ongoing maintenance. Please consult with a specialist or tradesperson prior to purchase, as claims cannot be made once the tiles are laid.
